Official Make-Your-Own Slime Kit by Karina Garcia Review (Craft City)

Official Make-Your-Own Slime Kit by Karina Garcia
What It Is

Make your own slime just like YouTuber Karina Garcia with the Craft City Official Make-Your-Own Slime Kit by Karina Garcia. It includes supplies and instructions for making eight different types of slime. You'll need to provide a few tools from home, too.

Start out by making translucent slime by simply mixing Slime Goo (clear PVA solution) and Slime Activator (Sodium Tetraborate Solution). Then, make opaque slime by mixing glue, the Slime Activator, and water.

Once you've got the basics down, make glow-in-the-dark slime with the glow powder, add blue glitter to the mix, make extra gooey slime, make your slime colorful with coloring tablets, add bubble wrap to your slime, and make slime bubbles by blowing into the slime with a straw.

Is It Fun?

For kids who like making and playing with slime, this will be a fun kit. It comes with some cool add-ons that make the slime look really cool and add a different element to the slime play. Plus, it's slime that kids get to make themselves! So if you're a slime fan, especially one who likes watching Karina Garcia's videos, then you'll be a fan of this kit.

Who It’s For

The Make-Your-Own Slime Kit is for ages 12 and up. Kids who really like making slime will like all the different types of slime they can make with the tools in this kit. Adult supervision is required.

What To Be Aware Of

The kit comes with a bottle of clear PVA solution, a bottle of sodium tetraborate solution, a bottle of white craft glue, a plastic cup, six coloring tablets (red, yellow, blue), glow coloring powder, water gel powder, blue glitter, a bubble wrap square, and a clear firm plastic straw.

You'll need to provide room temperature water, a teaspoon, a tablespoon, a spoon for stirring, a small bowl, a plastic storage container, and paper towels.

Be careful using the slime cup because it easily cracks.

The instructions for the translucent slime worked really well. The instructions for the opaque slime ended up really watery, so you may have to experiment with the amount of water you use, especially if you end up using one of the add-ons.

This kit is available exclusively at Target.
