Super Wings Jett's Takeoff Tower Review (Auldey Toys)

Super Wings Jett's Takeoff Tower
What It Is

Get ready for takeoff with the Super Wings Jett's Takeoff Tower, based on the Sprout TV show. This playset looks like the main character Jett, but open it up to reveal the World Airport complete with a mini Jett vehicle on wheels. You can even press mini Jett's nose to make mini Jett transform into a robot, just like on the show.

Inside the airport, there's a jump ramp that sends mini Jett flying out through the bigger Jett's nose. Just push a button to launch the mini Jett.

There is also a rotating control tower that can spin mini Jett and other mini Super Wings vehicles around. Push down on the tower to launch the mini vehicles down the ramps on either side of the tower. One ramp takes the vehicles off the back of the playset, and there is a stop bar that kids can raise and lower. The other ramp will take the vehicles off the ramp to the left or the right depending on where the track switch is set.

When playtime is over, everything folds back up inside the bigger Jett, and kids can use the carry handle on top to roll this Jett around for more pretend play.

Is It Fun?

Transformation is a big part of the Super Wings show as the characters go from jet and helicopter to robot and back again. Kids will like that the transformation aspect is included in this playset as they transform Jett from a jet to a playset and the mini Jett to a mini robot. This will inspire a lot of imaginative play for preschool fans of Super Wings.

Who It’s For

Jett's Takeoff Tower is for Super Wings fans ages 3 and up. Kids will like recreating favorite scenes from the show and imagining all-new adventures with this toy.

What To Be Aware Of

You will need to assemble the wings of the playset, but that's easy to do.

The instructions for how to play and fold up this playset are easy to follow, but they are laid out in a backwards way. Steps one and two are on the right side of the front page, but when you turn the page over, it goes to step four. That's because step three is on the left side of the front page.

Additional Super Wings vehicles are sold separately.
