OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Do you want to look like a game-accurate version of Halo's protagonist, Master Chief but don't have the know-how to cast your own armor? Disguise comes to the rescue with this highly detailed costume that looks like it jumped off your screen.

Much more than an old-school mask and hood, this costume comes in 32 parts, including a light-up helmet, hooded jumpsuit, chest piece, back piece, jet packs and lots more.

While this looks like an amazing costume, the armor pieces are little more than cheap, lightweight plastic wrap-arounds, and due to the cheap plastic parts, it might not last past the first wear.

Is It Fun?
This is an interesting costume for cosplayers who don't have the skill to create their own armor, but since it's very lightweight, cheap and severely restricts movement, it's not a lot of fun.
Who It’s For

While this looks like an amazing costume, the armor pieces are little more than cheap, lightweight plastic wrap-arounds. With an MSRP of $449, it's pricey for cheaply-designed a Halloween-only treat  and is best suited for a beginner cosplayer that wants to wear it for the holiday and repurpose it throughout the year for conventions.

What To Be Aware Of

This costume is available in in three sizes and requires two people to attach some of the harder to reach armor pieces, which is pretty typical for elaborate costumes.

Also, much like any armor-laden costume, wearing these sculpted pieces comes at a price - restricted movement. Those who expect to have a full range of mobility will find panels popping off at all the wrong times, especially around the knees and elbows. So, sitting may not be an option if you want to stay together, but let's be serious - how often does Master Chief sit without a vehicle that's not designed to accommodate his armor?

While the package makes the armor pieces look durable, they are really very lightweight plastic and do not seem to be very durable.
