Star Wars The Last Jedi Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter Review (Revell)

Star Wars The Last Jedi Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter
What It Is

Fight like the bad guy from Star Wars: The Last Jedi with the Star Wars Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter construction kit. This is part of Revell's SnapTite lineup, which means it's designed for younger builders and requires no glue, paint, or tools to assemble. Just follow the instructions to snap the 20 pieces together. All of the pieces come pre-decorated with movie-realistic details.

Once complete, press the button for lights and sound effects. It's got an opening cockpit and a small Kylo Ren figure inside. Kylo Ren cannot be removed.

Is It Fun?

This is a pretty cool model that captures the look of the TIE Fighter from the movie and is nicely detailed and durable, as you would expect from Revell model kits. But it's so easy for young fans to put together, and kids will really like hearing the sound effects and watching the ship light up as they play. Whether they are recreating scenes from the movie or playing out all-new adventures, this toy will inspire open-ended, narrative-based play.

Who It’s For

The Star Wars Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter is for ages 8 and up. Kids who are fans of Star Wars and construction kits will have fun building this model and then playing out imaginative Star Wars stories.

What To Be Aware Of

Because the pieces snap together, it took us five minutes to assemble this model. We didn't need glue, paint, or tools.

For the sound effects, the model comes with two button cell batteries.

Other The Last Jedi model kits include a Resistance A-Wing Fighter and a First Order Heavy Assault AT-M6 Walker. Each is sold separately.
