OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The LEGO Friends are playing in a winter wonderland at the LEGO Friends Snow Resort Chalet. This 402-piece construction set, model number 41323, lets kids build a two-story Swiss-style cabin where Andrea and Amy can keep cozy and warm when they're not out on the slopes. It comes with Andrea and Amy mini-doll figures, plus a Luna the husky puppy figure.

The cabin has a bedroom upstairs with two beds, a nightstand, and fun accessories, such as perfume bottles and a cell phone. There's even a dog bed. The snow-covered roof even folds out to give kids more access to the bedroom's interior.

Downstairs, there is a kitchen area with stove, a breakfast bar with two stools, a fireplace, and a sofa. And outside there is a hot tub. For better access to the interior of the bottom floor, just lift off the top floor.

Kids also get to build a snowmobile that has space for storing two skis and ski poles.

Plus, there are a lot of accessories, including sunglasses, cups, a pot, cheese, a croissant, a board game, a snow resort flyer, a mobile phone, a camera, a box of dog food, and a map.

Is It Fun?

There are so many little details to love on this set, from the extra log for the fireplace and the snowy paw prints on the front door to the board game in the living room and the moving parts on the snowmobile. LEGO has thought of everything to bring a dream ski resort experience to life for young kids. (Outdoor hot tub? Yes, please!) This will inspire a lot of creative storytelling for LEGO Friends fans and will make a wonderful addition to a LEGO Friends collection.

Who It’s For
