LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Battle of Atlantis Review (LEGO)

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Battle of Atlantis
What It Is

Help Aquaman save the Mother Box just like in the new movie Justice League with the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Battle of Atlantis construction set, model number 76085. Use the set's 197 pieces to build an underwater scene with an arch that has a knock-over feature and lots of reed and seaweed elements. You also get to build a white Mother Box on a pedestal. The Mother Box is a super powerful living computer that the bad guys are after and the good guys must protect in the new movie.

The set comes with four minifigures of Aquaman with trident and two Power Blasts that can be launched from his hands, a Parademon with stud shooter, and two Atlantean Guards with PlasmaGuns. All of the minifigures, except for the Parademon, have two facial expressions.

There is also a Super Jumper accessory for making the Parademon minifigure fly. Place the figure on the Super Jumper, press down on the tab, and let go.

Is It Fun?

This set may be small but it does have some nice detail, especially in the minifigures. Fans are going to like the Parademon's wings and the brand new scale armor decoration on Aquaman. This is going to be a fun way for kids to play out favorite scenes from the new Justice League movie, but it's also just a cool set for any Aquaman or DC Comics fan who likes to build with LEGO.

Who It’s For

The Battle of Atlantis construction set is for ages 6 to 12. This will be fun for fans of DC Comics and fans of the new Justice League movie, especially if they like building with LEGO.
