Star Wars Electronic Duel Imperial Death Trooper Review (Hasbro)

Star Wars Electronic Duel Imperial Death Trooper
What It Is

This dramatic 12-inch figure from Hasbro is designed for active, imaginative play.  The Electronic Duel Imperial Death Trooper is based on a characters that first appear in Star Wars: Rogue One and are recurring in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. These are the soldiers of the Imperial Intelligence who serve as bodyguards for Director Krennic. The figure carries a replica of the elite blaster these soldiers carry in the movies, and when you squeeze the legs together, it raises the weapon and fires with lights shining in the blaster.  The figure also has built-in battle sounds.

Is It Fun?
The 12-inch size is great for kids who want to engage in active, narrative, based play.

The light up blaster and battle sounds are cool features that add some dimension to the play. This is really designed as a toy rather than as a collectible or display piece, though they would work in that situation, too.

Who It’s For
The figure is recommended for kids ages 4 and up. It's ideally suited for kids who want to engage in narrative-based play and like to be active with their action figures.
What To Be Aware Of
The toy takes one AA battery, which is included for try-me purposes. You may want to replace that when you get home for best results.

Squeezing the legs together very hard may cause the left hand of the figure not to connect with the blaster. Kids will want to experiment with pressure as they play.
