Etch A Sketch Freestyle Review (Spin Master)

Etch A Sketch Freestyle
What It Is

The Etch A Sketch is back, and it's got a whole new look. The Etch A Sketch Freestyle is the newest version of the classic toy, and it lets kids use a built-in stylus to draw and write on the screen. And as they do, their creations show up in rainbow colors. There are even two included double-sided stampers for stamping clouds, circles, crowns, and stars. When you're ready to draw something else, just shake the Etch A Sketch to erase. The instructions say to shake it four times, but you really just have to shake it really hard multiple times.

The stampers and stylus have built-in storage space right on the Etch A Sketch to make it easy to take on the go and store.

Is It Fun?

While this doesn't have the same knob-turning creation aspect of the original Etch A Sketch, it does have color, which kids will like, and you still simply shake to erase to start all over again. This lets kids get creative as many times as they want with no mess. Creative kids will have a lot of fun creating different pictures through drawing, writing, and stamping. And because everything has a storage spot on the Etch A Sketch, it's a fun toy to bring with you when you're on the go.

Who It’s For

Etch A Sketch Freestyle is for ages 3 and up. It's a fun new take on the original Etch A Sketch for a new generation of creative kids.
