EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The Cars 3 Ultimate Florida Speedway is a five foot long speedway, the largest set ever from a Cars movie. It comes with one car, a Lightning McQueen. You race your car around the track with one booster propelling the car. There are lane changers that allow for side by side racing, a stand that holds 12 cars as fans, and a winners area. You will need to buy additional Cars vehicles to properly play with this set.

Is It Fun?
We were excited when we received this set, but ultimately left a little disappointed as what could have been a really good toy ended up being very mediocre. Assembly wasn't bad, with the stickers taking a long time. Our main problem was we couldn't keep the Cars on the track, vehicles often died before they reached the booster, and cars were sensitive if the pieces of tracks weren't perfectly aligned, which was difficult. While the lane changers worked well, we found ourselves taking a car that flipped or didn't make it around more than a couple of laps way too often.
Who It’s For
This set is for Cars fans and is age graded for kids 4 and older. If it worked better, anyone who liked to race cars would have fun, but ultimately it doesn't meet the criteria of the quality for the price.
What To Be Aware Of
We tried various vehicles from Cars 3, and they all worked differently. Out of curiosity, like a child, we tried lots of different Hot Wheels cars. Some actually worked better than the Cars vehicles; others didn't work at all; and others flew off the track, which you need to be careful of. Overall you are better off sticking with Cars-sized vehicles, which are different than standard Hot Wheels.

Once this set is put together, it takes up a lot of space and is tough to move without taking apart and rebuilding.
