Go! Go! Smart Wheels Save the Day Fire Station Review (VTech)

Go! Go! Smart Wheels Save the Day Fire Station
What It Is

Toddlers and preschoolers can help save the day with the Go! Go! Smart Wheels Save the Day Fire Station. This track set comes with a Go! Go! Smart Wheels fire truck named Francis. Francis talks, sings, and plays sound effects. Kids can activate these features by pressing the light-up button on the truck or by pushing the fire truck around.

There are even more songs, phrases, and sounds to hear when kids place the truck on one of the playset's four SmartPoint locations. The platform at the door is one location. The kid-powered elevator is another. There is a parking spot SmartPoint, and another one on the ramp at the top of the fire station.

Other features include a spinning fire pole that spins the fire truck from the top of the fire station all the way to the bottom and off the playset. Or send the truck down the yellow track and watch it extinguish the flip-down flames.

Spin the fire hose to open and close the doors. Pump the orange handle to send the fire truck through the doors and down the track. Press the blue lever to sound the bell. And open and close the window.

Is It Fun?

Young kids will have fun pretending to save the day with this fire truck-themed playset. There is a lot for small hands to do, from pushing the fire truck around to turning handles and pressing levers, which is good for developing fine motor skills. Kids will especially like hearing the fire truck talk and sing, and through all of the music and sounds, they're being introduced to letters and first words. And the more than 40 songs, melodies, sounds, and phrases help inspire the pretend play.
