Go! Go! Smart Wheels Race & Play Adventure Park Review (VTech)

Go! Go! Smart Wheels Race & Play Adventure Park
What It Is

It's always an adventure with the Go! Go! Smart Wheels, but there's a new adventure to be had at the Go! Go! Smart Wheels Race & Play Adventure Park, featuring Gavin the go-kart. Turn on Gavin and press the light-up button to hear sounds, songs, and phrases. Gavin might say, "G is for go-kart" or sing a racing song.

But there are more sounds, songs, and phrases to unlock when you place Gavin on one of the playset's four SmartPoint locations. There's a SmartPoint parking spot, a SmartPoint on the hill platform, one on the catapult launcher, and another one at the top of the ramp.

And all of those locations are part of the action play with the playset. Start Gavin off on the hill platform, and turn the handle to make Gavin climb the hill like a roller coaster. Once Gavin reaches the top, the go-kart will slide down to the catapult launcher. Pull the catapult lever to launch the go-kart up to the next level. From there, Gavin will race down the ramp, twirl around the 360-degree loop, and launch off the jump track.

Plus, the playset features a movable parachute and spinning Ferris wheel.

Is It Fun?
This is a cute playset that brings the thrill of a roller coaster to life in a kid-friendly way for toddlers and preschoolers. They'll like driving Gavin the go-kart around on and off the playset, and hearing the character car talk and sing. But play on the playset will be the most fun, as the go-kart interacts with the SmartPoints and kids get the chance to control their very own roller coaster ride.
Who It’s For
The Go! Go! Smart Wheels Race & Play Adventure Park is for ages 1 to 5. It will be fun for preschoolers who like playing with toy cars and the excitement of carnivals and amusement parks.
What To Be Aware Of

Gavin the go-kart comes with two AAA batteries, but those are for the in-store try-me features, and it's recommended that you replace them before you play for best results.

Adult assembly is required, and you will need a screwdriver.
