Make your own balloon animals with Oonies. This newest craze in the creative toy aisle consists of small, colorful balloons that you play with in all sorts of ways, from games and activities to creating cute characters with included stick-on accessories.
Use the Oonies Inflator Starter Pack to inflate the balloons, but once you run out of the supplies that comes with, you can continue the play with themed refill packs. The Pet Scene Theme Pack includes 36 Oonies pellets, eight Oonies connectors, 24 Oonies deco bits, six display connectors, 16 Oonie eyes, and instructions for creating different animals.
The pellets are small, squishy, and sticky pieces with a base, a neck, and a rounded top. We think they sort of look like little fish. But they inflate into balloons when you place them in the Oonies Inflator. (For a more in-depth look at how that works, check out TTPM's review of the Oonies Inflator.)
Once inflated, just stick the accessories to the balloon, stick the balloons together, and create however you want.
For kids who are already creating with Oonies, this refill pack is a great way to continue the fun and creative play. Kids can make the animals shown in the instructions or come up with their own cute and colorful designs. The Oonies Inflator Starter Pack is sold separately, so if you don't have one, you'll need to get one. And if you're getting one, it's not a bad idea to pick up a refill pack with it. That's because kids are going to have so much fun playing with these that they're going to go through the Oonies pellets pretty quickly.
The Oonies Pet Scene Theme Pack is for ages 5 and up. This will be a fun toy for creative kids and animal lovers.
