She's here, and she's ready to rumble...in high style, of course. Check out three of the beautifully detailed dolls in the new WWE Superstars collection from Mattel. Available in several different sets and with outstanding costumes, these are great for young WWE fans--and collectors as well. Mattel has artfully captured the style of these superstars, whether in the ring or on the town.
Fiery, Irish redhead Becky Lynch, winner of the first-ever Smackdown Women's Championship in 2016 is outfitted in her classic steampunk style is reflected in the athletic top and stretch pants giving her ultimate mobility and fashion sense.
Fans of the WWE Superstars will find this doll great for play or display. Since there haven't been traditional action figure made yet of the Superstars, this is likely to be very popular with fans.
The doll is age-graded for 6 years and up. It will appeal to kids who are familiar with the WWE Superstars, and some WWE collectors will appreciate the nicely done designs and affordable price for a collectible.
Mattel is promoting this as empowering for girls, and there's a certain amount of validity in that, particularly as the dolls featured in this collection have been steadily gaining in popularity. It's always great to see positive role models. Parents, however, will have to decide if this is good for their kids. We're pretty sure that any family where wrestling is part of their entertainment mix, these dolls will be a welcome addition.
