EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Gone are the days of darts with sharp points. That's because the new Doinkit Darts offers the same fun dart play but with magnetic darts. Each dart tip has a neodymium magnet that sticks to the magnetic dartboard.

But this is more than just not accidentally sticking a dart tip into your wall or accidentally hitting another player. These darts are also made with a special flexible mesh material to give them ideal aerodynamic abilities.

You play Doinkit Darts the same way you'd play regular darts. Hang the board on the wall, and give the three orange darts to one player and the three yellow darts to another player. Then take turns throwing your darts at the board. If a dart lands on the double ring, it's worth the number on the wedge times two. If a dart lands on the triple ring, it's worth the number on the wedge times three. The outer bull's eye is worth 25 points, and the inner bull's eye is worth 50 points.

There are a variety of different dart games you can play, and there are rules for seven of them at the Marky Sparky website.

Is It Fun?

This is a really cool dartboard. We like the look and performance of the darts, from the aerodynamic design to the strength of the magnets. We also like that the magnetic dartboard is printed so that it looks like it has the texture of a traditional dartboard even though it really doesn't. This game would make a nice addition on the wall of your game room or family room.

Who It’s For

Doinkit Darts is for ages 6 and up. It's sort of a safer way for kids to play darts because there are no sharp edges. But it's also going to be a lot of fun for adults.

What To Be Aware Of

You'll need to provide your own mounting tools to hang the dartboard on a wall.
