OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Riding roller coasters is fun, but how about building your own roller coaster? That's what you get to do in the puzzle game Roller Coaster Challenge. Pick a challenge card, set up the pieces as shown on the card, and then fill in the gaps to make a complete roller coaster that the coaster car will roll down.

The game comes with 40 challenges ranging from easy to super hard. What each card will tell you is where to stack black posts and how tall they should be, where the start and finish track pieces go, and where some of the curved and straight track pieces go. Then you're shown which pieces need to be added to the grid, but it's up to you to figure out where they go. Solutions are on the back of each card.

If you want to take a break from the challenges or you've mastered all 40 of them, then you can just play freestyle and design your own roller coasters however you want. There are actually more than 100,000 unique building possibilities.
