Magic Light Brush & Drawing Pad Review (Crayola)

Magic Light Brush & Drawing Pad
What It Is

Making art is magical with the Color Wonder Magic Light Brush & Drawing Pad. With this art toy, kids can paint however they want using a special paintbrush and Color Wonder paper.

The toy comes with six classic color paint pots. The color is labeled on the paint pot lids, but when you open up the paint pots, all you'll see is clear paint. Dip the paintbrush into the paint color you want, and the paintbrush will light up in the color. Then, when you swipe the paintbrush over the Color Wonder paper, the paint color will appear. And it will only appear on the special Color Wonder paper, not furniture, clothing, or hands.

Kids get an 18-page pad of blank Color Wonder paper that will be held in place as they work by the clip on the front of the Magic Light Brush unit. Everything stores on the unit when art time is over.

Is It Fun?

Creating with Color Wonder products is always so magical for young artists because they get to watch the color appear on the Color Wonder paper as if by magic. And this toy adds another fun element with the paintbrush lighting up in the different colors, too. Little kids are going to like this cool way to get creative, and parents are going to like that it's a mess-free way to get creative.

Who It’s For

The Color Wonder Magic Light Brush & Drawing Pad is for ages 3 and up. Young artists will like how the brush lights up with color and "magically" makes color appear on the special paper, while parents will like that the color only appears on the special paper and not furniture, clothing, or hands.

What To Be Aware Of

You'll need three AA batteries.

Brush off the paintbrush bristles with a paper towel between color changes.

This is a refresh of a product Crayola came out with a few years ago. That one was orange, but this one is blue.
