What It Is

Welcome to The Young Scientists Club! These build your own robot kits are part of a fantastic series which introduces young scientists to the exciting world of robotics. This four robot STEM toy collection features, HURDLE THE ROBOT, which will stop, back up, and change direction when sensing an obstacle. SUNNY THE ROBOT, which when it detects light will move forward, METALI THE ROBOT, which detects metal objects, and INFRA THE ROBOT which can be controlled via any household remote. Each set comes with a double-sided colorful instruction and activity poster as well as the individual robot components such a computer module, motor, chassis, gears, and colorful unique shaped cover. Each kit comes beautifully packaged in a box with a handle on top for portability. The detailed illustrated instructions provide stimulating learning and make these robotic kits fun. 

Is It Fun?
With 4 different colorful robots to choose from in the series, young scientists will love putting these mini machines together while problem solving and learning about the inner workings of a robot. The success of STEM toys will always depend on what the child actually enjoys playing with, so if taking apart electronics and putting them back together is something your child enjoys, than this toy is right for them. This also could be a fun project for parents and children to complete together.
Who It’s For

For 8 yrs and up these building kits provide educational and problem solving elements allowing young scientists to form their own results and conclusions on robot functions. This robot STEM toy is for the kids that have curious scientific minds and will sit still and immerse themselves in the inner workings of a robot.

What To Be Aware Of

This toy is catergorized as a STEM toy, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Though not included in the set, 2AA batteries are required as well as a small Phillips screwdriver. Our staff put these together in about 20 minutes. Each is sold separately.
