Minnie Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat Review (Ginsey)

Minnie Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat
What It Is

Sometimes kids need a favorite character to help them on their potty training journey. The Minnie Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat is a pink padded potty seat that fits over standard or elongated toilet seats and has four non-slip pads on the bottom to keep the seat secure. The soft seat features lots of images of Minnie Mouse, flowers, and bows, and there is even a plastic piece at the back that is shaped like a house with a Minnie Mouse decal on it.

On either side of the potty seat are two handles with rubberized grips to give kids something secure to hold onto. If you press the right handle, you'll hear three different sound effects.

To clean, just separate the soft cushion from the base and wash with mild soap and water. Wipe or let air dry.

Why Is It Useful?

The sound effects are a nice touch, however, they don't automatically play as a "reward" once a child does her business in the toilet and they really have nothing to do with Minnie Mouse. They're just random silly sounds. So this seat is probably more ideal for kids who can use a toilet but are getting used to using the big toilet. It turns the big toilet into a more comfortable and kid-friendly seat, and some kids may like holding onto the handles to feel more secure when they're on the toilet. And they might enjoy pressing the button to hear funny sounds.

Who It’s For

The Minnie Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat is for ages 18 months and up, and is designed to help children who are being potty trained. There is a 50-pound weight limit.

What To Be Aware Of

Three button cell batteries are included, but those are for the in-store try-me features, so you might want to replace them once you get this home.

This is made up of two pieces: the padded seat and the plastic base. Yes, urine can get underneath the seat, so you'll definitely want to separate the two pieces and clean them on a regular basis.

A Mickey Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat is also available and sold separately.
