Mickey Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat Review (Ginsey)

Mickey Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat
What It Is

Mickey Mouse is in the house, or more specifically, in your bathroom with the Mickey Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat. This is a red padded potty seat that fits over standard or elongated toilet seats and has four non-slip pads on the bottom to keep the seat secure. The soft seat features images of Mickey, Pluto, and Donald Duck on skateboards, and there is even a plastic piece at the back with a Mickey Mouse decal on it. A soft plastic splashguard is also included and will need to be attached before first use.

There are two handles with rubberized grips on either side of the potty so that kids can hold onto them for extra security. If you press the right handle, you'll hear three different sound effects.

To clean, separate the soft cushion from the base and wash the base, seat, and splashguard with mild soap and water. Wipe or let air dry.

Why Is It Useful?

Usually a potty seat with sound plays a sound when kids go to the bathroom in it. The sound effects on this potty seat don't work like that. They're just there to give kids something fun to listen to. We do wish the sounds had something to do with Mickey Mouse instead of just being random sounds.

Because this turns the big toilet into a more comfortable and kid-friendly seat, it's probably best for kids who can use a toilet but are getting used to using the big toilet. Some kids may like holding onto the handles to feel more secure when they're on the toilet, and they might enjoy pressing the button to hear funny sounds.

Who It’s For

The Mickey Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat is for ages 18 months and up, and is for children who are getting used to using the big toilet. There is a 50-pound weight limit.

What To Be Aware Of

This comes with three button cell batteries, but those are for the in-store try-me features, so you might want to replace them once you get this home.

This is made up of three pieces: the padded seat, a splashguard, and the plastic base. Yes, urine can get underneath the seat, so you'll definitely want to separate the pieces and clean them on a regular basis.

A Minnie Mouse Deluxe Sound Potty Seat is also available and sold separately.
