EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

She may be young, but Cruz Ramirez is eager to help Lightning McQueen and get in the race herself in the new Cars 3 movie. Kids can control this bright yellow racecar with the Disney/Pixar Cars 3 Racing Series Dinoco Cruz Ramirez. This R/C car features the character's blue-and-yellow color scheme with the Dinoco logo and the number 51. Use the matching remote control to send Cruz driving in all directions.

Push or pull the throttle to send the car forward or backward. Turn the side knob to change the direction of Cruz's wheels, either left or right. If you want Cruz to make a forward left turn, pull back on the throttle and turn the knob toward you. If you want Cruz to make a backward right turn, push forward on the throttle and turn the knob away from you.

Is It Fun?
Fans of the new Cars 3 movie will like the cool look of this R/C racecar and driving this new character all around the house. This delivers the racing action that kids know and want from their Cars toys, giving them to ability to recreate favorite movie scenes or make up their own racing storylines. The car travels really fast, so you'll probably want to play with it in an open area so you can more easily navigate the car, especially if you want to do a lot of turns.
Who It’s For

Disney/Pixar Cars 3 Racing Series Dinoco Cruz Ramirez is for ages 4 and up, although young kids might have a hard time using the remote. This will be a fun way to bring the new character to life for some off-screen racing action. It will appeal to kids who are fans of the new movie.

What To Be Aware Of

The car requires three AA batteries, and the remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included.

It might take kids a little time to get the hang of using the remote control. It can be confusing when you want the car to go forward so you push forward on the throttle and it goes backward, but it does get easier to control.

If you need to realign the wheels, there is a steering lever underneath the car that will do that.

Additional Racing Series R/C cars include the characters of Jackson Storm and Lightning McQueen. Each is sold separately.
