She may be young, but Cruz Ramirez is eager to help Lightning McQueen and get in the race herself in the new Cars 3 movie. Kids can control this bright yellow racecar with the Disney/Pixar Cars 3 Racing Series Dinoco Cruz Ramirez. This R/C car features the character's blue-and-yellow color scheme with the Dinoco logo and the number 51. Use the matching remote control to send Cruz driving in all directions.
Push or pull the throttle to send the car forward or backward. Turn the side knob to change the direction of Cruz's wheels, either left or right. If you want Cruz to make a forward left turn, pull back on the throttle and turn the knob toward you. If you want Cruz to make a backward right turn, push forward on the throttle and turn the knob away from you.
Disney/Pixar Cars 3 Racing Series Dinoco Cruz Ramirez is for ages 4 and up, although young kids might have a hard time using the remote. This will be a fun way to bring the new character to life for some off-screen racing action. It will appeal to kids who are fans of the new movie.
The car requires three AA batteries, and the remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included.
It might take kids a little time to get the hang of using the remote control. It can be confusing when you want the car to go forward so you push forward on the throttle and it goes backward, but it does get easier to control.
If you need to realign the wheels, there is a steering lever underneath the car that will do that.
