Fast and Furious Dom's Auto Shop Review (Mattel)

Fast and Furious Dom's Auto Shop
What It Is

Get your Fast & Furious cars ready for stuntastic action with the Fast & Furious Dom's Auto Shop. It comes packaged like a toolbox, but when you open it up, it becomes Dom's garage. There is even a 1:32-scale Dodge Charger inside for play right out of the box. The car has some removable pieces so that kids can pretend to tune it up and customize it, just like Dom.

Put the car on the lift and raise it up to hear hydraulic lift sounds. Push the two buttons to hear 17 auto shop sounds and Dom movie phrases, such as "I said a 10-second car, not a 10-minute car."

Pretend accessories include an engine clamp, an air hose gun, and a tool chest. Everything stores inside the playset when playtime is over.

Is It Fun?
This is going to be a fun playset for kids who want to pretend to customize their cars just like Dom in the Fast & Furious movies. The character phrases, though sometimes hard to understand, and the auto body sound effects help bring the auto body scene to life and enhance the imaginative play. Even if kids aren't fans of the Fast & Furious movies, as we suspect most younger kids have never seen the movies, this is still just a fun car playset for kids who like toy cars.
Who It’s For
The Fast & Furious Dom's Auto Shop is for ages 5 and up. Kids who like playing with toy cars will have fun pretending to give theirs a tune-up.
What To Be Aware Of

The playset requires three AA batteries, which are not included.

This is not for use with some Fast & Furious vehicles. It is compatible with the 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 car, which is sold separately.
