LEGO City High-Speed Chase Review (LEGO)

LEGO City High-Speed Chase
What It Is

Speed through LEGO City to stop the bad guys with the LEGO City High-Speed Chase construction set. This 294-piece set, model number 60138, comes with four minifigures of a pilot, a police officer, a crook, and a spring 2017 exclusive Chase McCain.

The pilot gets to navigate the police helicopter, which features spinning rotors, a removable cockpit canopy, and a working winch with hook.

There's space for the police officer behind the steering wheel of the police cruiser. The car has a rear spoiler, tinted blue windshield, and police-decorated bricks.

And the crook makes his getaway in the red sports car, which has storage space in the back for LEGO money bills and gold bars.

As the set's hero and only named minifigure, Chase McCain gets to ride in the helicopter, lower himself down into the sports car via the winch, and capture the crook.

Additional accessories include a walkie-talkie, handcuffs, and a buildable barrier.

Is It Fun?
This set is going to be a fun addition to a LEGO City collection. It's got three different vehicles, four cool minifigures (including the exclusive Chase McCain), and lots of action features to bring the cops versus robber storyline to life. This will inspire a lot of open-ended, narrative-based play for young LEGO fans.
