OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Mikey's got a trap to catch Rocksteady, and kids can help build it with the MEGA Construx Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mikey's Coney Island Trap construction set. It comes with 124 pieces for building a haunted house with falling plastic skull. The set also comes with two-inch micro action figures of Mikey and Rocksteady with a stud shooter weapon accessory.

The Mikey figure has a Jumping Turtle Power feature, which means that kids place the figure on a flat surface, push down on its head, and let go to make the figure jump up.

Lure Rocksteady into the trap by placing a hot dog-covered pizza at the haunted house's entrance. When Rocksteady comes along, hit the switch and drop the skull on Rocksteady. Mikey can have the hot dog pizza all to himself after that.

Is It Fun?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans will have a lot of fun building out an action-packed battle between Mikey and Rocksteady. The Jumping Turtle Power feature is pretty easy to activate once you get the hang of it, though Mikey might not always jump where you want him to. But just watching him jump into action will be entertaining for young fans, and they'll like dumping the skull and a rat on top of Rocksteady’s head.
Who It’s For

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mikey's Coney Island Trap is for ages 5 and up. It's going to be fun for kids who are TMNT fans and who like building construction sets.
