OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Once a child has outgrown a car seat, it’s on to the booster seat, and parents can rest easy knowing that their child is sitting in the Kiddy Cruiser 3 Booster Seat.

You can attach this to your vehicle’s backseat using either your vehicle’s LATCH system thanks to the booster seat’s K-fix+ connectors or your vehicle’s three-point seat belt. If you choose to use the seat belt, the red shoulder belt guides on either side make it easy to see where the shoulder belt should go while also helping to keep the shoulder belt tight and in place.

For maximum side impact protection, the Cruiser 3 uses the high-tech energy-absorbing material called Honey Comb 2 in the head and shoulder area. And the Kiddy Shock Absorber technology absorbs the force of the seatbelt, protecting the child in the event of an accident or sudden braking.

Plus, the adjustable headrest and leg extension ensure that the Cruiser 3 easily grows with your child.

And you can always keep the booster seat’s manual with you by securing it in the manual box on the back of the seat.

The Cruiser 3 is available in a variety of colors including lime green, steel grey, nougat brown, ocean petrol, royal purple, ruby red, night blue, and onyx black.

Why Is It Useful?
This is definitely a very useful booster seat that provides safety and comfort for a growing child. Parents will like that they have two options for securing the seat in a car, and that if they choose the seat belt option, they can use the shoulder belt guide as a, well, guide. If you’re going anywhere in the car with a child, you’ll need a booster seat, and this one is a good option.
Who It’s For
The Kiddy Cruiser 3 Booster Seat can be used with children from 4–12, or with children from 38 inches to 63 inches. The booster seat has a weight limit of 33 pounds to 120 pounds.
What To Be Aware Of

To pop out the K-fix+ connectors, you’ll need to lift up on the unlocking handle in the front. Make sure you lift up all the way, which will require a bit of force, in order to get the connectors to pop out. You’ll also need this same strength if you need to remove the seat and retract the connectors back into the seat.

The backrest cover and seat cover are removable and machine washable.

Always consult your vehicle’s manual for specific child restraint system installation details.

This booster seat is not certified for aircraft use.
