Wave Stroller Review (Silver Cross)

Wave Stroller
What It Is

Even if you've only got one baby right now, the functionality of the Wave Stroller ensures that when baby number two comes along, you'll be ready. This luxury stroller gives parents 16 ways to stroll with one child, twins, or siblings.

Right out of the box you get a stroller frame, a stroller seat, and a bassinet. The bassinet and stroller seat can each be used on their own on the frame or you can have both of them on the frame at the same time in a rear-facing (or facing you) position. The stroller also comes with car seat adapters so that you can attach a compatible car seat on its own or in conjunction with the bassinet.

If you purchase a separate tandem seat, you'll be able to combine that with the stroller seat, the car seat, or the bassinet for even more options. And you can also purchase a second bassinet so that you can have a double-bassinet stroller for twin infants.

Even without the extra seats, this stroller has a lot to offer. There are mosquito nets and rain covers for both the stroller seat and bassinet, and both have removable fabric covers for extra warmth.

The bassinet has a ventilation panel in the canopy as well as an underside ventilation system. The canopy extends really far to keep the sun out of baby's eyes. Plus, there's a nice foam mattress with hand-washable cover for baby to lie on.

The stroller seat has a peek-a-boo window and ventilation panel in its canopy, which also extends really far.  The stroller seat also has an adjustable footrest, a very soft and padded seat, and a five-point safety harness with adjustable straps and three height options for the shoulder straps so that the seat can grow with the child.

For parents, there is an easy-to-activate parking brake for the rear wheels, and parents can even lock the front swivel wheels. The leather handlebar has five height positions, there is a cup holder on the side, and there is a storage basket that can hold up to 33 pounds of baby essentials.

The Wave Stroller also easily folds up. You can remove all the seats and just fold the frame, or you can fold the stroller with just the stroller seat attached in the forward-facing, upright position.

It is available in midnight blue, granite, sable, and claret.

Why Is It Useful?

This is a stroller that will grow as your baby grows and as your family grows. With its soft fabrics and leather finishings, it's definitely more of a luxury stroller, but it combines the luxury with function. It's adjustable for both child and parent comfort, and there are so many ways for parents to use it. So whether you've got one kid, twins, or two siblings, you're really going to like the ability to transition from bassinet, stroller seat, car seat, and some dual combination of those options to give you the stroller you need.

It is available in midnight blue, granite, sable, and claret at silvercrossus.com.
