Memo Game Review (Plan Toys)

Memo Game
What It Is

Practice your matching and memory skills with the Memo Game, a tiny game that is part of Plan Toys’ PlanMini line of small toys and games packaged in reusable tins. Memo Game comes with a die and 12 blocks. There are two ways to play the game.

In the first challenge, line up the blocks in a four by three grid. Memorize the position of all the colors on the blocks, and then turn over the blocks. Roll the die and turn over a block to see if you can find the color that matches what’s on the die. When all the matches have been found, the player who matched the most wins.

The second challenge doesn’t use the die. Instead, after players have memorized the position of the colors and turned over the blocks, they take turns turning over two blocks to see if they can match colors. When all the blocks have been matched, the player with the most matches wins.

All of the pieces in this game are made from sustainable materials using sustainable manufacturing processes.

Is It Fun?
This is an easy-to-learn game that makes it fun for preschoolers to practice their color-matching and memory skills. The instructions aren’t super specific, but it’s pretty easy to figure out how both versions of the game are played. And because all of the game pieces are easily stored inside the tin, you could bring this game with you for play on the go.
Who It’s For

Memo Game is for ages 3 and up. It’s easy to learn, easy to take on the go, and fun for players of all ages.
