Kids can create a splashing good time with the Little Tikes Fountain Factory Water Table. Set up the table one way, but then let kids experiment with the interchangeable pipes and fittings to channel the water in different directions.
The table can hold seven gallons of water. Once filled, kids can press the pump to send water up the tubes, out the water tower that has three spinning wheels, and flowing to the three fountains. Use one fountain to fill a cup with water and make a peek-a-boo character pop up. Another one has a sprinkler with four different sprinkler settings. And the third can be used to fill another cup with water until it becomes so full it tips over.
There are also a variety of switches on the pipes that allow kids to redirect or stop the flow of water by simply turning the switch.
The table also comes with three floating accessories of a boat, a cup, and a funnel.
There are a lot of combination possibilities with the pipes and fittings for kids to explore, and they'll like seeing how the flow of water changes with each new creation they assemble. And through the creation process, kids are working their fine motor skills and developing some critical thinking skills.
But what is going to appeal to little kids the most is the possibility of getting wet while they play, which will really cool them off on a hot day. There's enough space on this water table for multiple kids to play together, and they'll just enjoy splashing around outside.
Adult assembly is required but is easy to do. You will need a Phillips screwdriver.
We had trouble getting the sprinkler to fill up enough with water that it actually worked.
Adult supervision is required when children are playing at the table.
