EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

All you have to do is feed Finneas, but that’s easier said than done in the new game Fish & Flips. This is part of Blip Toys’ Twist Time game lineup that is all about providing kids and families with fun indoor and outdoor games that get everybody active.

The centerpiece of Fish & Flip is Finneas the electronic fish. He’s got a giant open mouth for eating worms, but when you turn Finneas on, you’ll hear water sound effects and Finneas will start to spin around, which makes it challenging to throw the plastic worms in the fish’s mouth. What also changes things up are the paddles inside Finneas’ mouth. Two of the paddles cause Finneas’ fins to wobble when hit, but if you hit the middle paddle with a worm, Finneas will stop, make eating sounds, and then resume spinning but in the opposite direction.

There are two ways to play. In the first way, each player takes four worms of the same color, and at the same time (and from the same distance away from Finneas), players throw their worms into the fish’s mouth. The first person to get all four of his worms in Finneas’ mouth wins.

Or players can compete to see how many worms they can get into Finneas’ mouth with their eyes closed.

All of the game pieces fit inside the included storage bag, making this an easy game to transport to the backyard, the park, or the beach.

Is It Fun?
Whether playing inside on a rainy day or outside on a sunny day, Fish & Flips is a fun and silly game that everyone in the family can play together. We like that this is a game that is easy to learn how to play, satisfyingly challenging, and offers a way to get players up and active. Little kids, especially, will like the goofy look of Finneas and hearing the sound effects as they play.
