OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is
Inspired by the popular animated series on Nick Jr, the Blaze and the Monster Machines Flip & Race Speedway from Fisher-Price comes with the speedway, and a Flip & Race Blaze vehicle. First, build the track, which took us about 8 minutes to assemble. Then use the Turbo Launcher to send Blaze up and around the course. Once he gets to the Turbo Flipper, kids can move the handle to flip Blaze over, transforming him from a monster truck into a race car. The speedway also features adjustable track rails, and a pit to jump over. Recommended for ages 3 and up, this is a cool set for Blaze fans. Three year olds may need help to activate some of the features but once they get the hang of it, it's lots of fun. Blaze can be played with separately off the track as well. Either way, young fans can create their own adventures, bringing the fun of Velocityville home.
Is It Fun?

It is very fun to flip Blaze and watch him transform from a monster truck to a race car. The set is easy to build using the tracks, and easy to activate. With a Turbo Launcher that sends Blaze around the track, and a Turbo Flipper that transforms Blaze, there are multiple ways to play so kids will not get bored. Blaze can be played with separately as well for fans to create their own adventures, bringing the fun of Velocityville home.

Who It’s For

This Blaze and the Monster Machines Speedway is recommended for fans of the Nick Jr. series ages 3 years old and up. Three year olds may need help from an adult to activate some of the features but once they get the hang of it, it is a lot of fun.
