Simon says, “Play the new game Twist Time Simon Says Parachute!” This indoor/outdoor game comes with a ten-foot parachute and an electronic game console that calls out the commands.
There are actually three different ways that you can play this game. In the first game, Parachute, four to eight players hold onto the parachute's handles and perform the actions called out by the game console. You don't have to wait to hear “Simon Says” in this version. You might have to lift the parachute high or skip to the left. Or the player at the green panel and the player at the purple panel might have to run underneath the parachute and switch spots. This game plays for three minutes, and if you want to extend the play, just press the Twist button on the game console.
If you want to play the traditional Simon Says game, you can do that, too. You won't need the parachute for this one. Just listen for the game console to call out different commands, such as “Touch your toes” or “Do a silly dance”, but always make sure you hear “Simon says” before performing the action or you'll be out for that round. The last player standing wins. This game also plays automatically for three minutes, and if you need to extend the game, just press the Twist button.
The third built-in game is Red Light, Green Light. Players start 10 steps away from the game console and try to be the first person to sneak up and press the Twist button. But players can only move toward the console when the voice says, “Green light!” Once a “Red light” command is issued, all players must freeze where they are. And, players must move as commanded during a green light. For instance, the game console might tell kids to crawl or jump instead of run.
Everything fits inside the included bag for easy storage and portability.
With three different active games to play, there will be no shortage of fun. Kids will like going outside to play with the parachute or run around while playing one of the other games. And you can play these games inside, too, for a fun rainy day activity. This is a great way to get the whole family playing together, getting active, and having fun. It would also be a fun birthday party activity. And it's a great game for on-the-go fun, too, because everything fits inside the storage bag. So take this one to backyard, the beach, or the park.
The game comes with three AAA batteries for the in-store try-me features, so it's recommended that you replace them before you play for best results. Make sure you switch the game console from Try-Me to Normal Play in order to activate the game's full features.
If you're playing this outside, it can be hard to hear the commands. A parent might want to hold the game console and call out the commands so that the players can hear them.
Inside the box, you'll find the electronic talking Simon Says console, a ten foot parachute, and a storage bag.
