When negotiations break down in the Doomlands, break out the Nerf Doomlands 2169 Negotiator blaster. The storyline of Hasbro's Doomlands theme is that the year is 2169 and Earth is but a barren, lawless wasteland. In this post-apocalyptic future, a lone hero emerges to bring justice to a doomed land--wielding a Nerf blaster, of course.
The orange-and-black hammer-action Negotiator blaster fires eight Nerf Elite darts one at a time. Just load up all eight of the included foam Nerf darts into the rotating barrel, pull back on the lever, and press the trigger to fire one dart. Repeat to fire another a dart. The package doesn't say how far the darts can fly, but ours went about 50 feet. And they whistle as they soar through the air! A transparent area on the blaster reveals the inner firing mechanism.
We thought that 50 feet was a pretty good distance for dart travel, so Nerf fans will be pleased to know that the Negotiator looks cool and performs well. Because the firepower is what Nerf is all about! Whether for kids who are familiar with the Doomlands line or are new to it, they'll find that this blaster performs well and is easy to use.
The post-apocalyptic world theme continues to be a popular theme in the culture right now, and the Doomlands line of Nerf blasters plays upon that to help kids tell action-packed storylines through their Nerf battles for kids who are looking for that kind of play. It's a nice blend of imaginative roleplay and classic Nerf play.
The instructions for use are found on the back of the box, so don't throw it away until you familiarize yourself with what to do in order to fire the darts.
Do not aim the darts at people's eyes or faces.
This blaster is also part of the Nerf Tactical Rail System.
