If you thought that the mini collectible Num Noms were sweet to smell, just wait until you eat them with the Num Noms Lights Freezie Pop Maker. This food activity kit lets kids make frozen treats in the shape of Num Noms. It comes with three flavor packets for making a blue raspberry pop, a pineapple pop, and a cotton candy pop. All you have to do is add water.
The set comes with a pop maker stand, a pop holder, a post, a post topper, a mixing bowl, a spoon, three Num molds, three Nom molds, a light-up pop stick, two pop sticks, and a recipe booklet. You mix a flavor packet with water in the bowl and stir with the spoon. Place a Num mold in the pop holder and fill it with the mixture. Place the Nom facing downward in the mixture. Place the pop holder in the freezer for at least six hours, and then insert a pop stick to remove the treat from the holder and eat it. If you insert the light-up pop stick into your treat, you can make the treat light up by pressing the heart button on the stick.
The molds can be reused after you clean them, and you can use the additional suggested recipes for making even more frozen treats in all sorts of flavors, from mystery candy and key lime to nilla froyo and cocoa mallow. You will need additional ingredients to make those flavors.
Just like the original Num Noms, this food activity is super cute. Kids who are fans of collecting Num Noms will have a blast turning these sweet characters into a dessert that they can actually eat. And yes, they taste yummy. Kind of like a popsicle. You'll get about two frozen treats from each flavor packet, but we like that this can continue to be used even after the flavor packets are all used up thanks to the other included recipes. And that really lets kids get creative in the kitchen, especially if they start experimenting with ingredients and making up their own flavors.
The flavor mixes may cause staining, so it's advised that you cover your workspace and clothing before you begin.
Make sure to hand-wash everything before you use it and after each additional use.
