Little Tikes Princess Horse and Carriage Review (MGA Entertainment)

Little Tikes Princess Horse and Carriage
What It Is

Kids can gallop through their kingdom with the Little Tikes Princess Horse & Carriage. This pink-and-purple riding toy has a horse on the front and a tiara on top. The reins of the horse become a parent pull handle or there is also a parent push handle on the back of the carriage. Either way, a child's feet won't be dragging on the ground thanks to the floor panel. But you can easily remove the floor panel to allow a child to “gallop” along in the Princess Horse & Carriage on her own two feet. Whoever is controlling the horse reins can make the horse move left and right, and the horse makes clip-clop sounds as it moves. (Or it's supposed to. See What to Be Aware of below.) The side door opens up to allow one child to sit inside, and inside the carriage, there is a cup holder. On the roof of the carriage, there is accessory storage for parents. And on the back of the carriage, there is a storage basket for larger items.

Is It Fun?
This gives the traditional Little Tikes Cozy Coupe a fancy upgrade that little princesses will really enjoy. It's going to be a fun way for younger kids to ride around outside when Mom or Dad wants to take a walk through the neighborhood or park, but older kids will enjoy using their feet to move themselves around outside while they go on their pretend princess adventures. So having the removable floor panel is a really nice touch. We're not sure why, but our horse didn't make clip-clop noises when in motion, however, that didn't detract from the overall cuteness of having the horse attached to the carriage to give it a more realistic classic princess feel. And the storage options make it easy for kids to bring toys and snacks with them on their royal excursions.
Who It’s For
The Little Tikes Princess Horse & Carriage is for ages 1.5 to 5 with a maximum weight limit of 50 pounds. Little girls who dream of being princesses will like having their own princess carriage to ride around in, whether a parent is pulling them along or they are powering the carriage with their own two feet.
What To Be Aware Of

It took us 30 minutes to assemble this, and the instructions were often difficult to follow.

We definitely did not hear clip-clop sounds coming from the horse.

This is available exclusively at Toys “R” Us.
