What It Is
Help keep Thomas and his engine friends chugging along at the Thomas & Friends Sodor Steamworks Work Bench. This toy, which is designed to look like the Sodor Steamworks, lets preschoolers feel like they are one of the train engineers, complete with a screwdriver, a hammer, a wrench, a screw, and a nut. There is even a Thomas engine that kids can take apart, build, and repair. Place Thomas on the rotating turntable and send him to one of the three bays: water, repair, or coal. When you press the “W” button (for water) or the “C” button (for coal), you'll hear different sound effects, such as water. And lifting the railroad sign activates even more train sound effects. There's also a rotating Cranky the crane that can lift and move train engines in the pallet. Underneath the workbench, you'll find storage for other Thomas trains and track pieces, and you can use wood, plastic, and die-cast trains on the workbench.
Is It Fun?
This is a cute roleplay set that engages preschoolers in imaginative play as they pretend to be one of the train engineers at Sodor Steamworks, keeping Thomas and his friends on track. Young Thomas fans will have fun taking care of their trains, and working with the toy tools will be fun for any kid who wants to have a set of his own just like Dad. Plus, playing with the toy tools help preschoolers with fine motor skills. Parents will also like the toy's storage capability for all of their kid's train engines and track.
Who It’s For
The Thomas & Friends Sodor Steamworks Work Bench is for Thomas fans ages 3 and up. They'll enjoy tinkering with the Thomas engine and pretending to repair some of their other Thomas & Friends train engines. This will be a fun roleplay toy for Thomas fans or any young train fan who likes imaginative play.
What To Be Aware Of
