What It Is
The Bright Beats Build-a-Beat Stacker from Fisher-Price is a musical infant toy with a light-up base and four colorful alien-like critters for stacking. There are two modes of play, both of which activate upbeat music and dancing lights as little ones stack the pieces, in turn pushing down on the base. In Build-a-Beat mode, a new sound is produced each time. In Stack-a-Song mode, a short instrumental tune plays. The critters also feature rattle beads for baby to shake. There are two volume levels to choose from.
Is It Fun?

Infants and toddlers can experience musical stacking with the Bright Beats Build-a-Beat Stacker from Fisher-Price. It comes with four adorable, colorful alien-like critters known as boogie pals for stacking. While the toy can be activated by simply pushing down on the light up base, little ones will enjoy stacking the critters as they are very cute and easy to grasp.

Two modes of play offer different play experiences, both of which feature music and sounds. In Stack-a-Song mode, babies and toddlers activate dancing lights by pushing down on the base with one of the boogie pals. Then, in Build-a-Beat mode, kids will add to their song by stacking more of the boogie pals. In addition to entertaining baby with music, this toy may also help with fine motor skill development, and hand-eye coordination. Two volume levels allow parents to choose how loud the music plays.

Who It’s For

The Bright Beats Build-a-Beat Stacker is for infants and toddlers ages 6-36 months old. It offers a fun way to keep babies entertained while working on fine motor skill development, and hand-eye coordination while developing their sensory skills as well.

What To Be Aware Of

Three AA batteries are included but those should be replaced before playing for best results. The toy features two volume levels, and two modes of play. In Build-a-Beat mode, a new sound is produced each time. In Stack-a-Song mode, a short instrumental tune plays while music and lights are activated by pushing down on the base. The critters are not needed to activate the music and lights but when stacked on the base, kids inadvertently push the base down.
