EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is
The Air Fort is a cool tent-like play space made from a breathable polyester fabric that inflates using a standard household box fan (not included). The fort is easy to inflate by attaching the velcro tabs to the fan, and simply turning it on. It takes only 10-30 seconds to blow up depending on the type of fan. Once inflated, kids can go under cover to play or hang out in their fort alone or with friends.

Measuring 77 inches wide and 50 inches tall, the Air Fort can fit up to five kids. It's much easier and probably more spacious than building a fort with blankets, couch cushions, and other household items typically used in fort building. It also features a window, and has a mesh cover to protect kids from touching the fan. With two designs to choose from (pink and camo), these will appeal to a range of kids ages 3-14 years old.

Is It Fun?

The Air Fort is very easy to inflate in less than a minute. Once inflated, it's very spacious, offering kids plenty of room to lounge around, read, play, or hang out with a few friends. It's a really cool product, and is probably more spacious than a fort that a child would build themselves using blankets, couch cushions, and other household items typically used in fort building. A matching drawstring carrying bag is also included for easily storing the fort when not in use.

Who It’s For

The Air Fort fits up to five kids ages 3-14 years old. With two designs to choose from, it will appeal to a range of kids. However, a fan is necessary for this fort to function, so it will only work for those who have access to a 20-inch household box or similar fan.

What To Be Aware Of

The fort is easy to inflate by attaching the end of the 24-inch shroud to a fan using included velcro tabs. It takes 10-30 seconds to blow up once the fan is turned on. A fan is NOT included, and needs to remain on in order for the fort to stay inflated. To deflate, simply turn the fan off. A mesh cover protects kids from touching the fan.

The fort works best with a 20-inch household box fan or an 18-inch tabletop round fan. Tabletop round fans may take longer to inflate. Pedestal fans do not work with the Air Fort because the fans are too high off the floor to connect to the fan shroud. Once inflated, it measures 77-inch wide and 50-inches tall. There is no door to enter or exit, as kids can simply lift the bottom of the fort off the floor, and climb in.
