PBS Kids Field to Farm Stand Play Set Review (Plan Toys)

PBS Kids Field to Farm Stand Play Set
What It Is
The PBS Kids Field to Farm Stand Play Set from Plan Toys is a 24-piece sustainable wooden play set that encourages imaginative play and learning. The play set puts kids down on the farm preparing to harvest their crops. Kids can pretend to be little farmers with the included wooden farmer figure. Kids can "plant" and "rake" the soil using the included wooden tools: a shovel and rake. Once they are ready, kids can pretend to pick their veggies from the fields, bundling them up in the included bags, and take them to market. The wooden vegetables include mini broccoli, carrots, and tomatoes. Set up your farm stand with weight and put out your homegrown veggies sign, you are open for business.
Is It Fun?
This is a fun playset for kids to act to scenes from the farm to the table of their local farmer's market, which have become a fixture of many of today's cities and towns. We like how it also serves as a teaching tool for parents about where their food comes from as well as for learning basic counting skills using the vegetable pieces.
Who It’s For
The PBS Kids Field to Farm Stand Play Set is for ages 3 and up from Plan Toys. It will appeal to parents that seek out green toys created using sustainable materials. For kids that like to roleplay this is also a fun and simple set.
