Neon Hype Review (Yvolution)

Neon Hype
What It Is
The Neon Hype skateboard from Yvolution is a flexible-gripped neon skateboard with a flexible deck. The grip on the deck has a secure foot and allows you to have a secure foot and total control to get your curves and turns just right. This is a great skateboard that has a deck like a penny board so it's smaller and more narrow than a traditional skateboard. The wheels and flexible deck make for a fast skate while the light-up deck totally rocks the streets. There's also a rear brake to make sure kids stop or slow down when they want to stop, or the board starts going a little too fast.
Is It Fun?
Since it's smaller than ordinary skateboards, the Neon Hype's design makes it geared for riding rather than tricks. LED neon lights inside the deck make it glow constantly, which create an awesome sight to see rolling down the block. The griptape keeps kids from slipping off as they ride and push their way to high speeds. On the surface of the board, patterns of the griptape are cut out so that kids can see the neon lights through the top of the board as they ride, creating a volcanic vision.
Who It’s For
The Yvolution light-up skateboard is for ages 5 and up with a maximum weight limit of 220 pounds. This is great for kids who want to get around the neighborhood a little faster while looking cool. It's also a cool toy for kids who are interested in learning how to ride a skateboard, or at least curious enough to try it.
What To Be Aware Of
This requires two AAA batteries and has a weight limit of 220 pounds. The griptape keeps kids from sipping off and there's also a rear brake for extra stopping power - which  are great bonuses considering this board caters to beginner riders. It's very cool to watch, cruise and roll down the streets, but that's pretty much all you can do with it due to its small stature. If you're looking for a skateboard to do tricks with then we suggest you look for something larger as the Neon Hype is a penny board specifically made for getting around.
