Sky Viper s1350 HD Video Stunt Drone Review (Skyrocket Toys)

Sky Viper s1350 HD Video Stunt Drone
What It Is

From Skyrocket Toys, this is the Sky Viper s1350 HD Video Stunt Drone - where you'll get video and stunts in a sleek drone package. The first Sky Viper Video Stunt Drone that we reviewed was pretty cool, but a little clunky because you had to remove the bulky camera in order to perform stunts. It was also big. This much smaller, easier to control drone is a leap ahead.  Most drones these days have an auto-hover capability, which makes a huge difference in how easy they are to fly. This little Sky viper is no exception. The stunts are pretty easy to perform too. Just press the stunt button while hovering to flip, or while in motion to do a barrel roll. Of course, you can still capture video, or still shots.

Is It Fun?
Kids and adults will absolutely love flying this drone around and taking smooth first-person videos of their routine. There's eight one-touch stunts this drone can do that includes flips, spins, spirals, barrel rolls, and more. It's also got some other handy features such as auto hover, auto launch, and auto land, which are basically standard for quality drones now.
Who It’s For
The Sky Viper s1350 HD Video Stunt Drone is recommended for ages 12 and up. These days, drones are a surefire hit, and as they get more and more advanced, it's easy to see why. Sky Viper fans and fellow drone owners of all ages will appreciate the smooth flight and stunt options and get a kick out of watching their adventures later.
What To Be Aware Of
The downside here is that we've come to assume is that these video drones will stream to a smart phone app. Here, photos and videos are stored onto an onboard Micro SD card that you can sync to a desktop or laptop computer back on earth. The photos and video are surprisingly good for such a tiny airborne device (it's only seven-inches across). Sky Viper does offer streaming drones that are a little pricier, but that's there as an option only if live-streaming is important to you. The s1350 HD Video Stunt Drone is powered by an onboard rechargeable battery, but the remote requires three AAA batteries, which are not included.
