OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

With The Lion Guard Pride Land Rivals Kion vs. Janja, your favorite opposing characters from the Disney Junior show The Lion Guard face off. This two-pack includes figures of Janja the hyena and Kion, the lion son of Simba and Nala from The Lion King. Janja doesn't have any moving parts, but Kion has battle action. Just press the button on Kion's back to make his mouth open and close and his front legs move back and forth. His back legs are also poseable.

Along with the figures, kids get a Mark of the Guard armband to wear. The armband secures around a child's arm with a Velcro closure. And when they push the button on the armband, they'll hear phrases, sound effects, and the song “We're the Same” straight from the show. The armband also lights up.

Is It Fun?
This figure set will be a lot of fun for fans of The Lion Guard as they bring the rivalry between Kion and Janja from the show to life. This allows kids to play out favorite scenes from the show and imagine all-new battles between the characters. They'll also like wearing around the Mark of the Guard armband, which allows them to feel like they're part of the Lion Guard, protecting the Pride Lands. The lights, sounds, and music enhance the imaginative play and bring the action from the show to life as kids roleplay.
