Nerf Doomlands Double Dealer Blaster Review (Hasbro)

Nerf Doomlands Double Dealer Blaster
What It Is

The year is 2169 and only those with the most powerful blasters will rule the barren wasteland that is now Earth. You can be one of those powerful blaster wielders with the Nerf Doomlands 2169 Double Dealer. This 24-dart capacity pump-action blaster can fire two darts at once. It comes with two 12-dart clips and 24 foam Elite darts. To fire, load up each clip with 12 darts and slide each clip into either side of the blaster. Move the slide handle all the way back and then all the way forward before pulling the trigger to fire two darts. Or you can hold the trigger down and repeatedly move the slide handle back and forth to rapidly fire all 24 darts at once.

And to store your blaster, remove the clips from the front and store them vertically in the blaster's back handle.

Is It Fun?

The box doesn't say how far these darts are supposed to travel, but when we tested our blaster in an indoor hallway, the darts flew between 20 and 30 feet. That distance isn't bad, but what really impressed us was the amount of darts it can hold and fire. This blaster looks really cool, and with the capacity to hold 24 darts, the odds of you being the last one standing in your blaster battle are very good. The whole post-apocalyptic world theme plays upon a popular theme in pop culture right now and adds a bit of imaginative roleplay to the classic Nerf play for kids who are looking for that.

Who It’s For

The Nerf Doomlands 2169 Double Dealer blaster is for ages 8 and up. It will appeal to Nerf fans who are looking for a well-performing blaster and who want to add a little roleplay to their Nerf battles. It's an easy-to-use blaster with a cool look that Nerf fans will appreciate.

What To Be Aware Of

Both clips must be loaded and attached to fire two darts at once.

Do not aim the darts at people's eyes or faces.

This blaster is also part of the Nerf Tactical Rail System and will work with Tactical Rail accessories, sold separately.
