EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The Star Wars movie, Rogue One, introduces audiences to several pivotal characters from the Rebel Alliance's history, and Hasbro's Black Series turns some of those characters into collectible action figures. The Star Wars The Black Series: Sergeant Jyn Erso (Jedha), from Hasbro, is a six-inch, Black Series figure of the Rebel Alliance character from the movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In the movie, Sergeant Jyn Erso has left her curious past behind and joined the Rebel Alliance and their fight to rid the galaxy of tyrannical rule by The Emperor. The character is headstrong, defiant, and eager to bring the battle to the Empire. Although Erso typically works alone, in Rogue One, she finds a higher purpose by accepting a desperate mission for the Rebel Alliance. This Black Series Jyn Erso figure features the high level of detail and full articulation that Black Series figures are know for. The figure shows Jyn Erso in an outfit that she wears on the planet Jedha. The outfit consists of black pants with a working holster, gray shirt, tan vest, and a removable hood/scarf. The figure comes with a small pistol blaster, that fits in the holster.

Is It Fun?
Hasbro's Star Wars Black Series figures are skillful recreations of the characters in the Star Wars movies that they depict. Black Series figures, including this Jyn Erso figure, are filled with movie-specific details so they will look great, and stand out in a collector's Star Wars action figure display. This Jyn Erso figure is sold in a nicely designed black and red box with a large clear plastic front so the Jyn Erso figure can be displayed without removing it from the box. However, the Jyn Erso action figure is fully articulated so it will also look great out of package, and positioned in different action poses.
Who It’s For
This Jyn Erso figure is designed for Star Wars fans and collectors, ages 4 and up. We think kids will have fun playing with the figure, but this Jyn Erso is really more for older fans and adult collectors who will want to collect and display it.
