Pass the Pen Review (Pressman)

Pass the Pen
What It Is

Pass the Pen is a really quick drawing game with a very cool detail. The object of the game is to get the most points after 10 rounds. Here's how it works, draw a card, roll the dice, choose the color on the card that relates to your dice roll, and draw. The timer is built right into the pen and causes the tip to retract when time runs out. You can set the timer on the pen to 10 or 15 seconds. This is a classic game of guessing what you're drawing, but we don't split into teams. Each player has to guess what you're drawing. If the player guesses what you drew, you and the player both get points. There are more details on how to play the game in the instructions provided, but this is the basic concept.

Is It Fun?
Pass the Pen is a game for all ages, and it's sure to bring some laughs and fun while playing. The exciting, retracting pen is a great addition to the fast-paced game as it adds the element of surprise to their art. Players can start with a 15-second timer, moving down to 10 seconds when they're more confident in their drawing and prefer a challenge. Even though the game is determined over 10 rounds, they go by pretty quickly. The game includes over 100 cards and 500 drawing challenges, so the repeat play factor is off the charts.
Who It’s For
This is for three or more players, ages 8 and up. It's great for a group of kids and can also be fun for the entire family. Gather everyone around the table and try to doodle your challenge in the quickest amount of time. Once your guests start playing, they'll realize how much easier said than done these challenges can be in the short amount of time they'll be given.
What To Be Aware Of
The pen features a built-in timer that can be adjusted to either 10 or 15 seconds. As time goes by, the tip will retract further into the pen until it disappears completely. Pressman's Pass the Pen includes one pen timer, one die, 104 cards with 520 challenges, one drawing pad, and instructions.
