OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is
The Doctor Who Twelfth Doctor's Second Electronic Sonic Screwdriver is a toy replica of the most current Doctor's trusted Sonic Screwdriver, which was gifted to him by the Tardis in the episode "Hell Bent" in Season 9 of the popular sci-fi BBC series, Doctor Who. This version features a similar color scheme to the Tardis with a blue shaft and silver-and-gold detailing. It also featured multiple emitters that resemble the time rotor. Although, like the Doctor, we have yet to uncover all of this sonic screwdrivers abilities, there are a few we are sure of. Press the button downward to emit its classic blue light with sound effects. As in the series, this toy replica can also emit a green light with low-pitched static sound effects when pressing the button upward.
Is It Fun?
The Doctor never goes anywhere without his trusted sonic screwdriver, which has certainly saved him from many a bad situation--and much handier than those sonic sunglasses! While this one may not have the actual powers of the real sonic screwdriver, fans of the show are going to want to get their hands on this one for play and display! Pretend to be the twelfth Doctor and turn on your sonic screwdriver to save the day and maybe even take down a Dalek!
Who It’s For
The Doctor Who Twelfth Doctor's Second Electronic Sonic Screwdriver is for ages 5 and up. This is a toy that is going to appeal most to Doctor Who fans familiar with the history of the device, avid watchers of the series and more specifically the twelfth Doctor, as well as those looking to use this toy replica for roleplay, cosplay, and simply display.
What To Be Aware Of
Three button cell batteries are required to operate the sonic screw drivers different features, which emit either a blue or green light along with different pitched sounds.

The sound effects are meant to represent its power over sound waves, frequencies and more.
