LEGO Vampire & Bat Review (LEGO)

LEGO Vampire & Bat
What It Is
Get in the Halloween spirit with LEGO thanks to the LEGO Vampire and Bat construction set, model number 40203. With this 150-piece set, consisting primarily of black, white, and purple bricks, kids get to build a vampire figure with bat. The vampire stands just over four inches tall and wears a black cape, purple bowtie, and purple shirt with white ruffle. He also has a white streak in his black hair, pointy ears, angry eyebrows, and pointy fangs. You can even make his hands move a little bit. The bat also has pointy fangs, and you can make the bat rest on one of the vampire's hands or pretend to fly the bat around with its moving wings.
Is It Fun?
This would make a fun LEGO set to put together around Halloween. Instead of giving a kid a bunch of candy on Halloween, if he's a LEGO fan, give him this themed set! (Or let the Switch Witch take your kid's candy and swap it for this.) Though vampires can sometimes be scary, this one, with its large and blocky look actually appears kind of cute, though kids could make him scary if that's how they wanted to play. And because this is holiday themed, it would also be fun for older LEGO fans to build and put out as part of their Halloween décor.
Who It’s For
The LEGO Vampire and Bat set is for ages 7 and up. LEGO fans who also really like Halloween will like building this small set and using it as part of their Halloween décor or creating spooky stories with the vampire and their other LEGO sets.
What To Be Aware Of

It took us five minutes to assemble this small set, and the instructions were easy to follow.

Additional holiday-themed sets include a LEGO Pilgrim for Thanksgiving. That set is sold separately.
