EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is
Slice a path to safety with the Nerf Zombie Strike Brainsaw blaster. Along with being a dart-firing blaster, this neon green and orange blaster also has a spinning foam sawblade on the front. The blaster comes with eight green Nerf Elite darts, and you load four into either side of the blaster. Move the pump handle all the way back and all the way forward, and then pull the trigger to fire one dart. If you want to start up the sawing action, just pull the cord.
Is It Fun?

The box doesn't say how far these darts are supposed to fly, but when we tested out the blaster, our darts flew between 30 and 35 feet. That's not a bad distance, and the blaster is really easy to fire. It's also got a really cool look that anybody who is into the whole zombie pop culture theme right now will definitely like. And who doesn't think it's fun to rev up that fake saw over and over again? This blaster, like all of the Nerf Zombie Strike blasters, adds an element of roleplay to Nerf battles and so will be especially fun for kids (or adults) who are looking to create their own pretend zombie battles.

Who It’s For
The Nerf Zombie Brainsaw is for ages 8 and up. This blaster is going to be fun for kids who like playing with Nerf blasters and who are looking to add some roleplay to their next Nerf battle. This particular blaster is a cool addition to the Zombie Strike line, which plays off a popular theme in today's culture: the zombie apocalypse. Kids and even some adults will find the Nerf Zombie Strike line fun to keep on-hand in their Nerf arsenal--or for when the zombies really do strike.
What To Be Aware Of
Some assembly is required, but it's mainly just snapping on a handle. It's very easy to do. There is an instruction sheet to go with this blaster, but it's inside the package, so make sure you open up the whole box in order to find the handle that you must snap on and the instructions.
