Pirate Raiders' Ship Review (Playmobil)

Pirate Raiders' Ship
What It Is

Set sail for swashbuckling adventure with the Playmobil Pirate Raiders' Ship. This pirate ship playset comes with Playmobil figures, lots of accessories, and the ability to float on water. It has three main sails, all made of a soft plastic to give them a fabric feel. There are also two functioning cannons, one on wheels and one attached to the front of the ship, that shoot the four projectiles in order to ward off anyone who tries to board and steal the pirate booty, which can be hidden in the ship's main deck storage compartment. There is also an anchor that kids can drop to secure the ship's location once they've reached their final destination.

The playset's 115 pieces include three Playmobil pirate figures with hats and other wearable accessories, a torch, barrels, swords, a monkey figure, and lots of other accessories.

And even though this ship floats on water, if you don't want to play with it in water, use the ship's wheels to roll it on dry land.

Is It Fun?
This playset will be a lot of fun for kids who like pirates. Those kids are really going to like bringing this pirate ship into the bath with them and creating all sorts of imaginative pirate adventures on the high seas. Playing with this might also be a fun incentive to get reluctant bathers excited about bath time. This could also be used in the pool. But it doesn't have to be relegated to the bath toy pile. (Which is good because TTPM doesn't have a bathtub!) This offers lots of open-ended, narrative-based play opportunities in the water and on land.
Who It’s For
The Pirate Raiders' Ship is for ages 4–10. This will offer a lot of imaginative play for kids who like pirates. It makes a fun addition to bath time or playtime in the pool, but it will also inspire lots of open-ended, narrative-based play on land.
What To Be Aware Of

Assembly is required, and it took us 20 minutes to put the pirate ship together, and the instructions were easy to follow.

You can upgrade this set with the R/C Underwater Motor, sold separately, to remotely guide the ship through water.
