OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Combining the Party Wagon construction set with Mikey's Pizzeria Showdown set comes the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Street Battle building playset from MEGA Bloks. The 433-piece building set based on the computer animated series creates one pretty dangerous battle scene.

A zip line takes Mikey up to the tower to access the scene. The tower can also be used as a playable part of the environment by tipping it over, with water-esque blocks toppling out to short the circuits of the pesky Mouser robots. The Raphael figure features double-slashing action as he tries to take on Tiger Claw, which is exclusive to the set. The Party Wagon can also roll in to save the day from the Foot Clan's heinous antics as it features a pop-out battle shield door and launches objects at Shredder and his goons.

Is It Fun?
This is a great playset that encourages roleplay and exciting storytelling. Best of all, the building aspect helps reinforce motor skills and keeps kids focused. What's great is how it combines two MEGA Bloks sets with additional figures to create one playset for more engaging adventures. The Pizzeria's water tower features a zip line and can also tumble onto bad guys with the push of a button, and the Party Wagon's cool design, battering, and launching actions are sure to keep kids engaged.
Who It’s For
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Street Battle is for ages 7 and up. Once built, there are lots of moveable parts (such as the tower) and fans of the Ninja Turtles will enjoy displaying this playset with all the butt-kicking characters. Not only is it great for display, but there's plenty of play that can occur due to the many features and figures.
What To Be Aware Of
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Street Battle playset from MEGA Bloks combines two existing MEGA Bloks playsets and adds two figures to the sets in the form of the villainous Tiger Claw and Shredder's Foot Soldier. The set is 433 pieces and puts together the Party Wagon and Mikey's Pizzeria Showdown playsets. Also included are two mousers, Raphael, and Michelangelo figures. The TMNT figures are based on their appearances on the current animated Nickelodeon show.
