EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is
Celebrate the countdown to Christmas with Snow Chewbacca, just one of the holiday-themed minifigures you'll find in the 2016 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, model number 75146. Each of the 24 days before Christmas is numbered on the calendar, and kids open up one numbered door a day to reveal a different minifigure, vehicle, and more inside. It comes with 282 pieces for building such sets as Snow Chewbacca, droids, and vehicles, but if you want to know what all of the sets are, you'll just have to open all the doors yourself. We won't spoil all of the surprises for you. The Advent Calendar box also doubles as a display scene for all of the sets that kids reveal and assemble, giving kids the space to play out snowy gift-delivering storylines in a galaxy far, far away. And, of course, you can combine the pieces in this Advent Calendar to other LEGO Star Wars construction sets you already own.
Is It Fun?
Every year, LEGO comes out with a new Star Wars Advent Calendar filled with exclusive minifigures and other small LEGO sets, and this new calendar doesn't disappoint. We are obviously very fond of Snow Chewbacca, but there are a lot of cool minifigures, vehicles, and small sets for kids to assemble and collect with this Advent Calendar, and it's a fun surprise to open up one of the calendar's doors each day to see what you're getting. It's a fun and buildable Christmas countdown that gives kids something they can play with long after the holiday season, and it will definitely appeal to Star Wars collectors who will enjoy the special holiday-themed pieces.
Who It’s For
The 2016 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar is for ages 6–14. It will be fun for LEGO fans who participate in the Advent Calendar tradition to open up a mini LEGO set every day leading up to Christmas. And while this set is for kids, we think even older LEGO fans will want to collect it because of the inclusion of the Christmas-themed minifigures.
What To Be Aware Of

Each set is very small and will take you just a few minutes to assemble. There are pictures or building instructions on the back of each door.

Other 2016 LEGO Advent Calendars feature the themes of LEGO City and LEGO Friends. Each is sold separately.
