OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Doc McStuffins gets a promotion in the new season of the Disney Junior show, Doc McStuffins Toy Hospital, and kids can pretend to be Chief Resident of the Toy Hospital, too, with the Doc McStuffins Toy Hospital Care Cart. Roll around the kid-sized cart to go from toy patient to toy patient and always have all your doctor tools right with you.

Right out of the box kids can care for the included Findo figure. Findo the toy dog has a moving head and poseable legs. Place Findo, or other toy, on the cart's patient bed to get started.

There's a pretend EKG machine with a printout to pull on to activate Doc phrases, such as “Your heartbeat sounds really strong!”. This area also has two knobs to turn for clicking sounds and two buttons to press for more phrases and sounds.

Take the toy's blood pressure by squeezing the bulb to make the monitor's tube spin and the needle move.

Listen to the toy's heartbeat with the stethoscope. Press the heart-shaped button to hear heartbeat sounds and Doc phrases, such as “How are you feeling today?”

Insert one of the two x-ray slides into the x-ray slot to trigger lights and sounds, plus Doc phrases, including “Could you help me with the next check-up?”. For more sounds and phrases, press the heart button.

The x-ray area also has another clicking knob for kids to turn and a music button that plays the new Doc McStuffins Toy Hospital theme song, “Welcome to the Hospital.”

There's storage underneath the cart, as well as a drawer for storing the x-ray slides, the otoscope, and the thermometer.

Is It Fun?

This comes with a lot of great accessories to inspire imaginative doctor roleplay, and preschoolers will like that the Doc phrases make it seem like Doc is working right there alongside them.
